Baltimore fire investigators are probing a two-alarm blaze in the Hampden area early Thursday that left one person injured.
"...Units saw two-story dwellings, multiple dwellings on fire, and they quickly upgraded to a second alarm. At this time, we have 10 homes affected -- eight by fire, two by heavy smoke," Baltimore City fire Capt. Khalilah Yancey told WBAL.
"We make sure we're checking for extensions make sure the fire doesn't extend in any homes, and making sure the homes are boarded up because we don't want to leave people's valuables vulnerable in their home," Yancey said.
